About us
A platform built to make amateur tennis measurable.
What Lokaltenis is
Lokaltenis is a platform that brings tennis players together, records match results and lets clubs run their tournaments. The mobile app and this website are two faces of the same system: players follow their careers in the app, and tournament and club pages are published here for everyone to see.
At the heart of the system is LRS — the Lokaltenis Rating System. Every confirmed match turns into rating points, taking the opponent's strength and the score margin into account. So the question "who plays better" gets an answer based on records, not on arguments.
Why it exists
In Turkey, amateur tennis is largely played off the record. Club tournaments run on paper draws, scores get lost in messaging groups, and nowhere does it say how far a player has come over the years. Finding an opponent at your level is left to whoever you happen to know.
Lokaltenis exists to close these three gaps:
- Record: no match played gets lost; a player's history builds up in one place.
- Measure: level is expressed as a single rating, calculated by the same rule for everyone.
- Access: finding a player near your level and your club's tournament doesn't depend on who you know.
How we work
Using the platform is free for players. Match records, the LRS rating, joining club tournaments and following your career cost nothing. There is an optional premium membership; core features are never put behind it.
Tournament management for clubs runs on a separate panel. If you would like to bring your club onto the system, see the For Clubs page or write to us directly.
Players' privacy choices are a rule of the system itself, not a setting added later: a player who hides their profile never appears on this site and their name is not shown in rankings. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
