1. Basic rule
This policy applies to the digital organisation, tournament entry and court booking services obtained through Lokaltenis. The provider, date, price and contractual cancellation conditions at the time of the order are decisive. Statutory withdrawal rights and rights relating to defective service and breach of contract are not limited by this policy. For Premium, the Premium Terms also apply.
2. What happens in each case
| Event | Outcome |
|---|---|
| The provider/organiser cancels before the tournament starts | The price of the entry/organisation service not provided and the mandatory fees tied to it are refunded as money. A coupon is not mandatory. |
| The club closes the court or cannot provide the confirmed service | The price concerned is refunded; no late-cancellation deduction applies. Another date is offered only with the user’s acceptance. |
| The date/place changes materially | The user may accept the new conditions or end the service concerned and request a refund. |
| A player is removed from the list through no fault of their own | The price of the paid service not provided is refunded. Payment by the player and payment on behalf of the club are tracked separately. |
| The provider cancels after the tournament has started | The part performed/not provided, divisibility and the benefit of the remaining service are assessed; an automatic zero refund is not applied. |
| The user cancels within the free cancellation period | According to the condition shown in advance, the full price concerned is refunded; any statutory right is also protected. |
| The user cancels late or does not come | If the service was kept ready properly, the disclosed and proportionate deduction/no refund may apply; provider fault and statutory rights are reserved. |
| A friend tournament is cancelled | The part of the organisation service actually performed and any applicable withdrawal/cancellation right are assessed. The first match having been played does not remove claims for defective service. Any unused periodic entitlement is restored. |
| The payment is completed after the entry dropped / the slot was given to someone else | The full price collected for the service that cannot be provided is refunded as money. |
| No payment was taken or the club did not approve the request | No charge is made; any temporary authorisation is released through the disclosed process. |
3. Coupons, mixed payments and who receives the refund
A user entitled to a money refund is offered a coupon only as a separate choice. Before the choice, the coupon amount, expiry date, the services/providers where it can be used, transferability and all restrictions are shown. If the coupon is not chosen, the money-refund route remains open. A coupon never involves a general waiver of statutory remedies.
A promotional discount, an amount paid by card/bank transfer and a coupon representing an earlier money refund are recorded separately. A free discount does not automatically turn into a cash claim. The source of a coupon that represents a real earlier payment is preserved; the statutory money-refund obligation cannot be removed merely by using the word “coupon”.
If an authorised administrator made a bulk payment on behalf of a club, the actual buyer and the means of payment are decisive. An amount the player paid themselves is not redirected to another person. A price paid directly at the club is refunded by the club; Lokaltenis forwards the request to the provider concerned and continues to fulfil its own obligations as intermediary.
4. Requests and time limits
The order number, contact details and a short explanation are enough for a request; any necessary additional information is requested proportionately. The in-app help/transaction details or destek@lokaltenis.com can be used. The request is recorded; the outcome and, if refused, the specific reasons are given. Other legally valid means of notice are reserved.
For statutory withdrawal refunds the relevant 14-day period applies; for termination/price reduction due to defective service, an immediate refund; for impossibility, notice within three days and refund within 14 days of the notice. Other contractual refunds are made within 14 days at the latest, subject to any shorter mandatory period. Refunds are free of charge and made in a manner suited to the means of payment.
