Using this sample is not mandatory. Other legally valid notices sent in time that clearly state the wish to withdraw are also accepted. For transactions with a statutory withdrawal exception, a request about cancellation by the provider or defective service can be made separately.

The full card number, security code or online banking password is never requested to review a refund. A secure transaction reference and, where necessary, proportionate additional verification are used to identify the means of payment.
